This workshop will be conducted by Noor Bchara, a fashion designer and sustainability consultant based in New York, specializing in scaling recycling and reuse. She founded Noorism in 2015, driven by her frustration with the amount of poorly made and
single-use clothing produced by the fashion industry each year. She emphasizes
recycling and transforming used or discarded fabrics into fashion items. The event
is open only to students of the University of Arts.

Space Night is an educational, entertaining, and inspiring event for science enthusiasts
and curious minds alike. It will take participants on a journey into the magical world
of the universe. The event features a variety of interactive activities and exhibitions
suitable for attendees of all ages, primarily aimed at children aged 12-18. Space
Night aims to promote STEM education, ignite interest in space sciences,
and provide a friendly and enjoyable experience.

For the past five years, the U.S. Embassy has supported the Academy for
Women Entrepreneurs (AWE), a program of the State Department that promotes
women-led startups and businesses (ages 20-40). Noor Bchara, a designer
specializing in scaling recycling and repurposing, will conduct a seminar with
AWE, followed by an open celebration of AWE's five-year anniversary in Albania.

Led by designer and sustainability consultant Noor Bchara, the upcycling event
will promote sustainable fashion by showing young people various ways to
transform old clothes—such as blouses, jackets, or other clothing items—into
something they would love to wear again. Participants will learn simple styling
techniques like adding patches, sewing, and embellishing to make their
garments more fashionable and appealing.

The American Fashion and Innovation Exhibition will offer a unique blend of fashion, culture, and innovation. Participants will explore garments created by renowned
American designer Noor Bchara, alongside pieces designed in collaboration with
students from the University of Arts. At the same time, a fair will showcase video
games and technology driven by young people, as well as handcrafted products
from women artisans and a live music performance. This dynamic event integrates
fashion, culture, entrepreneurship, and innovation, celebrating the strong
connection between Albania and the United States.
