Contemporary Kosovar Art in the age of AI, under the framework of the Durrës International Biennale of Contemporary Art, aims to establish a new cultural connection and interaction between Albanian artists from Albania and Kosovo, serving the community in the city of Durrës. It also seeks to introduce contemporary Kosovar art and its aesthetic and anthropological approach as a means of promoting artistic tourism and educating the local community through art and culture.

Kosovo's First Opera "The Girl of Kaçanik"

"The Girl of Kaçanik" is the first Kosovar-Albanian opera, composed by Rauf Dhomi (1945). It is a story of love, bravery, and freedom, based on the novel by Milto Sotir Guro, brought to life with the direction of Nikolin Gurakuqi. This production comes as a tribute to the Flag Day, presented by the Kosovo Opera Orchestra and Choir, along with the National Ballet Company of Kosovo, conducted by Maestro Edon Ramadani.

Two places, one heart, one table – Flavors that unite us! Flinë from Albania and Kosovo, Tiranë’s tutmaçi and Kosovo’s manrija, will bring the tastes of our regions together in the heart of the city. The welcoming corner of the Tirana Castle will showcase the history of these traditional dishes and aromas from Albania and Kosovo in an ethnic table setting. This journey of flavors, along with the history and symbolism of the dishes, will be narrated by Mrs. Dhurata Thanasi Daneri, founder of "Luga e Argjendtë", researcher of the history of Albanian and Balkan culinary culture.

The exhibition is organized on the 150th anniversary of the birth of Father Shtjefën Gjeçovi, featuring various bibliographic materials from the Collection of the National Library of Kosovo. The aim of this exhibition is to promote and honor the creative work of this author, who made a significant contribution throughout his life. He was distinguished for his research work in collecting the traditions and way of life of the northern Albanians, particularly for the codification of the legal content of the Kanun, especially the Kanun of Lek Dukagjini.
